Tours of the House
TO FIND OUT DATES FOR SUNDAY TOURS - SEE News/Events PAGE
The house is open for tours from March 2008. In addition to seeing where Atonement was filmed, tours also give visitors interested in late Victorian architecture a unique opportunity to see a virtually untouched interior.
Group tours can be arranged on Tuesdays - Sundays inclusive. The house is closed on Mondays. We regret that tours are not suitable for young children.
All tours must be prebooked and cost of 12.50 per head (£15 from January 2009). There is a minimum of 20 people per tour. Special arrangements can be made for larger groups. The house tour will normally take approximately one hour, followed by morning coffee or afternoon tea with homemade cakes or biscuits. Visitors are welcome to explore the grounds following the tour.
INDIVIDUAL TOURS for smaller groups are available on Sundays by appointment only. We are now taking bookings for Sunday August 31st at 2.30pm. Further dates will be announced. Please check the News/Events page for these and details of other events open to visitors.
Tours can be booked either by emailing tours@stokesaycourt.com or by phone/fax 01584 856238. (If there is no reply, please leave a voicemail and we will get back to you!)
GROUP BOOKINGS can be arranged up to two weeks in advance of the visit. Payment is requested in advance and cheques should be made payable to STOKESAY COURT. We regret that we are unable to take payment by credit card. Tours can be booked either morning or afternoon, and can be scheduled to start at any time from 10 am through to 3.30pm.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL BOOKINGS MUST BE MADE AND PAID FOR IN ADVANCE AND IT WILL NOT BE POSSIBLE TO TURN UP ON THE DAY
When booking a place on a tour, please leave your name, contact address and a telephone number as well as your email address (where appropriate).
We look forward to welcoming you.
Wheelchair access is available to the ground floor only.
